We drove up on Friday night, stayed at a rather nice hotel, then went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire on Saturday. Given that last year I said our local faire is better (it is), I did have a purpose for going. Did I tell you about the corset I bought at the VA Faire? Well, that shop also sells at Penn, and I wanted the matching skirts. I got them too.
I also got to see my wonderful friends, which makes any trip worthwhile. We hung out, saw some shows, did some shopping, then drove the long way home.
Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
