I really hate the government sometimes. They make a mistake, and I have to pay. It's not right. But, I've done it, because they can certainly make my life miserable whether it's right or not.
Still, I don't have to be happy about it.

Most irritating thing ever:
One year, the IRS made a mistake and underpaid me, so they sent me the back pay plus penalties. They then called the penalties "earned income", and I had to pay tax on it for the next year's return. Gah! Laurel
