My roommate, hereafter called Phoenix, and don't ask me why I didn't just start that way, and one of our other friends have birthdays around now. The ministry that I've been working with is throwing them a party this evening. It should be fun! I haven't finished Phoenix's gift, but I've got something for our other friend. I'll see Phoenix on her actual birthday - because I live with her! - and it will be done by then.
This will be a late night, though. It always is when this group gets together.
