Not Computer Sick

Believe it or not! I'm not sore like I was last week, and I just spent hours on the computer updating my website. Look for new images in Meet My Dolls, 3D Landscapes, 3D Figures, and a ton of stuff in Capital Treasures, not even half of the pictures I took last weekend. I haven't taken pictures of my purchases yet. By the way, I found out that a lot of the things usually housed at the Museum of American History (like the Ruby Slippers and Kermit) are on temporary display at the Air and Space Museum (while their original location is under renovations). Isn't that great news?! If you want to see the Ruby Slippers, you can! They're just in a temporary home right now!

WAM didn't show up for work today. THANK YOU!! But the bosses won't be too happy about it. That's a blessing too, I think!

That's really all I have to say for today!

Oh, Fox, I'm sorry you didn't get to see the dolls like you had asked. We just managed to not get together before I had to have them in the mail!

Glen and I went to a "Wizard of Oz" museum in a far-away town in Kansas. It was amazing! They claimed to be the only museum of it's kind and it was privately run. If it wasn't in such a "no-man's land" I'd take you there.

As we were finishing up our museum tour, Glen realized he'd lost his wedding ring at a campground (we were on our honeymoon) so, the ending memory of that partiular museum was destroyed. hahaha

His ring was returned though!

Your pictures, old and new are just amazing! Thank you for sharing those. I was wondering if I could post a link to your dolls in one of my blog entries? You made me laugh so hard with some of the descriptions you gave, like "I don't usually recommend pulling up the skirt of my dolls." Fun times!

Oh, Glen and I think you should start a webcomic. We've been thinking on it and decided you would be excellent!

DRAT!! You just reminded me that I forgot rings!! Thanks, Willow.
I know some of my earlier dolls have some blurry images (they look better smaller!). Re-taking some pictures is on my long list of things to do, now that I've got a better camera for it.

Yes, you may link to my site. Maybe someone will want one of their own! ;) (Like I'm going to say no to that!) I actually printed out the wrong design breakdown for you. I was going to send you one that didn't have the tattoo noted and leave it to you to find it or not. By the time I noticed it, I was ready to put everything in the box and take it to the post office. There wasn't time to print up another and put it in the file.

A webcomic, huh? Well, I think that's a compliment coming from the two of you. However, clever as my vernacular may be, I barely have time to write out the all-text stories in my head. When will I have time to draw them too? The one-frame fan art I did for Astra took 10 hours with my design medium of choice.

Honestly, it's something I would like to do some day. But that someday is long and far away!

Well, no matter how long we have to wait for a webcomic by Fyrecreek, you already have two fans! :-D

You know, I didn't even notice that mine didn't have belled sleeves until I read it on your website. We're just completely amazed at the detail you've already put into them!

I figured that would be one of the little details only I knew about. Like when you miss a line on stage. The audience never notices, but I know!!

By the way, for my fair blog readers who don't know what I meant by "the one-frame fan art I did for Astra," I mean this Astra:

Oh my, I hate missing a line on stage! The audience doesn't know but the other players do and that can sometimes be worse.

Totally! I once had to tell a scene partner that he kept forgetting a line and it made his next line make no sense! He remembered it by closing night....
