Green Grow the Rushes

Ok, so the songs from PAFaire's end sing-a-long have been running through my head all day. Some of them because I found them anoying, some because they are actually quite catchy.

I found that Green Grow the Rushes (a rush is an aquatic plant, a kind of reed) is an old English children's counting song, not unlike the Twelve Days of Christmas. There are tons of Christian references in that tune.

So, I was off of work yesterday, so today is acting like Monday. I'd better get to work! And when I get home today, I'm going to finish my second assignment, even though I can't turn it in for a week. Struggling with the book club book, if I thought Ancestors of Avalon was bad, this is worse.
